Besides retaining the revolutionary cross-brand abilities of remote power control and wireless HSS of Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic and Pentax flashes simultaneously, the new system-specific X-TTL firmware for Pentax adds wireless TTL for Pentax flashes both on and off-camera.
Wireless P-TTL
The Pentax system is unique where only Pentax system flashes, Cactus RF60 and RF60X flash can be triggered by a Pentax camera for wireless TTL.

New Protocol and Upcoming Firmware Releases
Due to the implementation of X-TTL firmware for Pentax, a new wireless protocol has been adopted. 3 This new protocol will be adopted in the X-TTL firmware of all camera systems in future.
With the new protocol in place on the Pentax X-TTL firmware, the firmware for the remaining camera systems, i.e. Olympus, Nikon and Canon, will be completed by the first quarter of 2018.
