Developed and tested in conjunction with Pentax engineers at Ricoh Imaging in Japan, the Odin II for Pentax bring the power and control of the award-winning Odin and Indra systems to Pentax users.

“The is another great addition to the Phottix line-up of lighting solutions,” said Steve Peer, Phottix CEO. “It is a privilege to collaborate with a brand as prestigious and celebrated as Pentax. We look forward to offering Phottix lighting solutions to Pentax fans around the world.”

WPPI provides a great venue for the photo community to experience the compatibility between these two great systems,” said Ken Curry, Senior National Sales Manager, Ricoh Imaging.

Intuitive User Interface

The re-engineering of the Odin II User Interface came from the feedback of users. Two new features make the Odin II both easier and faster to use. Each group – A, B, C, D, and E – have an individual button for quick access. To further streamline use an analog thumbwheel was added to allow for faster control of power levels.

More Channels and Digital ID

The Odin II features 32 channels as well as a Digital ID function to customize their compatible Phottix products – keeping them safe from interference and outside triggering. Using a four-digit Digital ID code on their Phottix products will only trigger from products using the same four-digit Digital ID code. With more channels and Digital ID, photographers can shoot more and worry less about other nearby users.
